My name is Joan Iverstine. I reside in Kenya, East Africa and have an abandoned baby home about 30 miles north of Nairobi. I am a retired school teacher and came to visit in Kenya in 2004 and felt God wanted me to do a work here. I retired and came in the ministry. In July 2007, I received my first four babies and March 2008 received 3 more and plan to take 3 more after January 2009. We take in babies from 0 to 6 months that have been abandoned by their mother for what ever reason.
